Which parts of Accra does OkadaDrop cover?

OkadaDrop runs across Greater Accra — Osu, Labone, East Legon, Madina, Tema, Achimota, Dansoman and everywhere between. If both your pickup and drop-off are inside the zone, you can book. Enter an address in the app and it will tell you straight away.

How much does a delivery cost?

Fares are worked out from the real road distance and the package size, and the full amount is shown before you confirm. There's no surge pricing and no separate booking fee. A typical cross-town run — say Osu to Madina — sits in the GHS 20–35 range.

What can I send?

Anything a rider can carry safely on a bike: documents, phones and laptops, food, medicine, market shopping, spare parts, small appliances. OkadaDrop doesn't carry cash, live animals, or anything illegal, hazardous or fragile beyond what a bike can protect.

How do I pay?

Mobile Money — MTN, Telecel or AirtelTigo — or cash to the rider on delivery. You choose per delivery at the confirmation step, and the receipt is saved in the app either way.

How are riders vetted?

Every rider is verified with a Ghana Card, a valid licence and their registered plate before they can accept a single job. Their name, photo, plate and rating show on your screen as soon as they accept, and every delivery is rated afterwards.

What if something goes wrong?

You can cancel free of charge until a rider accepts, and reach the rider directly from the tracking screen at any point. If a delivery goes wrong, contact support from the app and we'll investigate the specific trip — every one has a full record attached.

Can I ride for OkadaDrop?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The OkadaDrop app has a rider mode. You'll need a working motorbike, a valid licence, your Ghana Card and a smartphone. Sign up in the app and choose 'I want to deliver' to start verification.
